Best-of-3, 5 or 8 rounds — Stars on the line.
Rock Paper Scissors on Stario is the simplest format on the platform: pick rock, paper, or scissors faster than your opponent and over the long run, exploit their patterns. Best-of-3, 5, or 8 round duels paid in real Telegram Stars.
How RPS works on Stario
Both players have 10 seconds per round to lock in rock, paper, or scissors. Both reveals happen simultaneously after both have chosen, or when the timer expires (any unselected player gets a random choice). Standard rules: rock beats scissors, scissors beat paper, paper beats rock. First to win majority of rounds takes the pot.
Tie rounds (both pick the same) don't count toward the win — they're replayed without score change.
RPS on Stario
Match length is short — typical best-of-3 finishes in under a minute. Bots fill empty seats with rank-tuned reading: rank 1 picks counter-strategically, rank 5 plays randomly. Bot pick has a 1–9 second humanizing delay so the match feels like a real exchange, not a timer.
Read tips
- After a win, opponents tend to repeat. After a loss, they tend to switch.
- Pick from a coin in your head — anything you "feel" is a pattern your opponent can read.
- Going first to scissors after a tie round catches more rock-leaners than you'd expect.
